Chilling Hours up, exports down for our California Cling stone peaches

Californian peaches have caught up on chilling hours after reports in mid-December that the trees had less time in the cold that was expected, according to the California Canning Peach association’s Peach Fuzz… The CCPA describes rain-fall as ‘significantly ahead of last year, with above normal amounts throughout northern California’. Hoever, it noted that the totals in the Fresno area are still ‘well below normal’.
