Bullseye Farms is a second-generation family farm located in Northern California. It is a father-son partnership located on thousands of acres that was formed nearly twenty years ago and has grown to specialize in growing processing tomatoes, almonds, walnuts, sunflowers and any other cover, seed and rotational crops.
Bullseye Farms is committed to environmental health and to principles of social and economic equity. We believe that we can achieve these goals while maintaining a competitive edge by focusing on sustainable farming principles.
One example of our commitment to sustainable farming that we are most proud of is our development in 2000 of conservative irrigation practices. Thanks to forward thinking, intelligent design and innovative technology, we are able to irrigate 98% of our acres with drip irrigation, which means the plant thrives by getting exactly the amount of water it needs while no water is wasted through evaporation or drainage. Our drip systems minimize the need for fertilizer and water while enabling the safe use of recycled water. This is good for business and good for the planet.
Thanks to principles of sustainable farming, family farms like ours are able to compete and thrive by offering consumers and large retailers what they demand—safe and delicious produce at competitive prices but not at the expense of the environment or our social responsibilities.
