American Chili
Ingredients
Soup
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup onion chopped
- 1 cup green pepper chopped
- 2 cans Bush's Chili Beans 16 ounce
- 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 ounce
- 1 can tomato paste 6 ounce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp sugar
Toppings (optional)
- Shredded Cheese
- Jalapenos
- Red Onion
Instructions
- In a large pan, cook beef, onion, and green pepper until meat is browned. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in remaining ingredients, except toppings.
- Bring to a boil.
- Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Garnish with toppings if desired.
