Woodland: Currently harvesting!

Conventional Tomatoes – Harvest continues but getting closer to completion. Currently we’re about 94.5% completed. We had a rain event over the past weekend which every grower got some measurable rain, but some growers were rained out completely. It took a couple days for those growers to get back into their fields. We continue to struggle with a little mold here and there.
The growers are doing the best they can to mitigate the impact. When it gets too bad in the field the grower will stop and move to the next field. If they have a next field to move to.

Harvest complete!

Harvest is complete. It was a late and challenging harvest with uneven ripening and some fruit quality issues. We experienced a couple of heat waves and some rain during harvest that added to the already challenging mixed maturity. All in all growers managed the harvest well by two picking their orchards, sorting in the field and applying sprays when needed. Growers are mechanically topping their trees and irrigating. Now they just wait until their trees
go dormant to start winter hand pruning.

Harvest complete!

Harvest is complete in all Districts. Our tonnage requirements were met, and some growers even had extra fruit that they had to leave in the orchard. Growers are waiting for the
trees to go dormant to start pruning.
